Immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, colours and aromas of market life. Discover tropical fruits, fresh produce and local foods, meet vendors, listen to stories of everyday Fijian life and enjoy opportunities to taste seasonal fruits when available.
Continue to the bustling Suva Flea Market, where local crafts, handmade souvenirs and the creativity of Fijian artisans offer a glimpse into Fiji’s cultural traditions. Visit the historic Sacred Heart Cathedral, reflecting the early Catholic missionary presence in Fiji, before exploring the local craft centre and its traditional arts and handicrafts.
At Sukuna Park, learn about Ratu Sir Lala Sukuna, one of Fiji’s most influential statesmen, and his lasting contribution to the nation. Continue past the Olympic swimming pool and Carnegie Library, then visit the local art gallery to discover Fiji’s artistic expression and contemporary creativity.
Along the way, enjoy opportunities to capture memorable photographs, take short rest breaks and use washroom facilities. A refreshment stop provides time to enjoy a coffee or light snack before continuing through Suva’s historic government district.

It was a pleasure to meet with John. He was very knowledgeable about Nadi. John shared about the recent past of Nadi and history of Fiji. He was patient with all of our questions and answered all of them. John shared the handicraft traditions of locals with us and at the market we sample some fresh pineapple. John introduced us to art work of contemporary local artists. At the end of the tour John let 7s know to contact him with any further questions or concerns, he'd be happy to help us. Very kind and generous.

Maya our tour guide was excellent! She went over& beyond to show us a good time in the marketplace! she had great relations with the seller so we got samples, was able to walk us around various venues and show us excellent shopping deals. We even went and had a traditional Fiji meal! I like that she showed us places that we can go to on our own and should go to on our own the next day. Showing us the hotspots on the island and letting us know the best ways we can get around on our own visitors! She was the best - I highly recommend this tour!

This is the second time we’ve visited Nadi and have thoroughly enjoyed snorkeling, swimming with sharks, fine dinning at port restaurants and the pampering we’ve received at 2 resorts. However this time 2 days before we flew home we took the Culture Walking tour of downtown Nadi which opened an entirely different Nadi as well as the country and inhabitants of Fiji than we had been exposed to. In addition to being incredibly knowledgeable of Fijian culture and history tour guide John is an excellent communicator and made the subject matter so interesting it made me wish I had taken the tour at the start of one of our trips. Highly recommended.

My husband and I had a fantastic experience on the Discover Nadi Culture: Guided Walking Tour with John as our guide. John is incredibly knowledgeable about Fiji’s history and culture, with deep insights into the temple, local cuisine, and handcrafted markets. He has an excellent sense of how to engage with his group, pacing the tour perfectly and welcoming any questions along the way. His communication is clear, and he’s genuinely committed to making the experience both informative and enjoyable. We highly recommend John—he’s a seasoned guide who makes you feel comfortable and well-informed throughout the tour.
